Louie Castelli (aka Lil Louie C) was born on October 1, 1992 in South Philly. Although he showed an interest in music and performing at a very young age, he started to focus on rap at the age of 10. At the age of 14, he met producer Mike Fazio who recognized Louie C's potential, mentored him and allowed him to use his studio to record. Soon after, he was performing at local teen clubs and parties. After putting his music on MySpace, his popularity grew and in turn caught the attention of producers and concert promoters. In December 07, Louie C entered and won a radio contest for Wired 96.5's "Chio in the Morning Show". He wrote, performed and and recorded an original rap about the show called "Ima P1"(produced by J Smit). The host and producers were impressed and in addition to continually playing the song, made it available for download from their website. This allowed him numerous opportunities to have his music played on various local NJ and Philly radio stations. In the summer of 2010, Louie C opened his own recording studio and started a record label, Liberty One Entertainment. In October 2010, his artists made their debut at his "The Prototype" album release party. Louie C is currently working on numerous projects as a producer and artist.
